– dare to be different!
✅ Our society isn’t always accepting or especially kind to those that are different. In fact, it often seems that conformity is the glue that binds the world together. We find this very surprising and short sighted. After all, isn’t it those that are not afraid to buck the status quo that change the world?
✅ What you see is not always all there is to see. How often do we become so focused on what is right before our eyes, and don’t notice the things happening on the periphery, the stories unfolding elsewhere, the whole world evolving in front of us? Life is a huge tapestry of people and animals, plants, things in constant motion. It is always changing. Always evolving.
✅ What we see, what we perceive – it’s all in our perspective! We can either see only the obvious things on our path, or the treasures at the edges. We can see the troubles or the possibilities. The ugliness or the beauty. The unhappy stories or the joyous ones. It all depends on where we put our attention, and how willing we are to look beyond the obvious to the periphery of our imagination and vision for other perspectives.
✅ Change makes the majority a bit uncomfortable. It is those that society deem dreamers, misfits, eccentrics, that embrace the fact that change is inevitable and are usually very quick to contribute. They are able to see the world for what it is – one big vast, glowing opportunity.
